How we offer a full-featured EHR for free
Clinical Pro is our full-featured EHR, and the software subscription is $0. There are no caps on providers, patient charts, or storage. We want practices to choose the right EHR for their patients, not the one their budget allows.
We can offer Clinical Pro at no cost because partnerships with pharma, life sciences, and AI model labs help fund it. Approved research uses only fully de-identified clinical data inside secure, hosted environments.
It is fair to have questions about that. Partners do not receive identifiable patient records. You can read more about the safeguards in our Privacy Policy and Business Associate Agreement.

Is OpenCoreEMR really $0?+
Yes. The Clinical Pro software subscription is $0, with no provider caps, patient-chart limits, or storage limits. Add-on pricing applies to Direct Messaging, EPCS, Credit Card Processing, and Integrated Claims Submission when it launches.
What does Clinical Pro include?+
Clinical Pro includes the full EHR, managed hosting, support, and free data migration. Direct Messaging, EPCS, Credit Card Processing, and future Integrated Claims Submission have the add-on prices shown in the feature list.
Which Clinical Pro features have add-on pricing?+
Direct Messaging is $159/year plus a $200 one-time setup fee. EPCS is $150/year. Credit Card Processing is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Integrated Claims Submission is coming soon, with pricing TBD.
