Password Reset

You can reset your own password and the passwords for others if you are an administrator. This guide will walk you through both.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

• Admin Login Credentials

Changing Your Own Password

1. Click on your User Icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Select Change Password.
3. Enter your Current Password.
4. Enter your New Password.
5. Repeat New Password to confirm.
6. Click Save.

If you are unable to reset your password, contact your administrator to reset your account password.

Changing the Password for Another User

Admins can reset the password of other users.

1. Go to Admin > Users. Select the user you want to reset the password for.
2. Enter the user’s new password. In the “Your Password” , enter in your password, not the password for the user you are changing. This acts as a security check to make sure you have the authority to restore another users password.
3. Share the updated password with the user.

Reset a Password in the Patient Portal

Patients can update their password by logging into the patient portal.

1. Settings > Manage Login Credentials,
2. Enter their New Password.
3. Repeat their New Password to confirm.
4. Enter your current password to authorize the change.

Reset Patient Portal Password (Admin)

To reset the password for a specific patient portal account, navigate to the patient's chart.

1. In the Patient Portal / API Access widget, click Reset under credentials.
2. In the Password field, use the system-generated password or one that you designate and click Save.
3. A print screen may pop up with the new login credentials document, which you can share with the patient. The document will indicate whether an email containing the new credential information was sent to the patient's contact email on file.
4. Patients may be required to change their password when they first login after a password reset.
