Make a Payment from the EMR

How to make payments from the EMR.

Enabling Rainforest Pay or another payment processor is required for processing credit card payments.

1. Access the patient chart that you want to post a payment.
2. In the top toolbar, click on Fees > Payment.
3. Select Credit Card for Payment Method.
4. Select the appropriate option for Patient Coverage and Payment Against.
5. Collect For will list all the encounters and a breakdown of the charges and payments.
6. Add the amount to charge in the Paying field for the corresponding Date of Service.
7. Click Credit Card Pay.
8. A payment modal will appear. Enter in the credit card number, expiration date, CVC, and postal code.
9. Click Pay to complete the payment.
